Roles we have filled here
- Chief Operating Officer (COO)
- Controller
- Senior Project Manager
The functions vary; what the sector keeps asking for does not. In industrial services, the hire usually has to hold a standard under pressure, run people who are a long way from headquarters, and make a call without waiting for permission — which is a description of the job our candidates already did.

Why this pool, here
What actually transfers into industrial services
Leading crews nobody can see
Field crews work for days on their own judgment, a long way from anyone senior. That is the abnormal condition of most management careers and the normal condition of a special operations detachment — which is why these leaders set a standard that holds in their absence rather than one that needs their presence.
A safety culture that survives being unsupervised
Safety on a customer's site is decided by what a crew does when nothing is being watched. Somebody whose previous work punished a shortcut immediately, and visibly, does not treat a procedure as paperwork — and does not need to be persuaded that the boring version is the right one.
Working on ground you do not control
Industrial services happens on somebody else's site, under their rules, alongside their people. A career spent operating through partner forces rather than over them is unusually direct preparation for that, and it is the part of the job that most often breaks a hire from a plant background.
The general case — the six things that show up in the first ninety days whatever the sector — is on what triple vetted means. If a résumé here is hard to read, the glossary translates it.

Industrial services field leadership: running crews you cannot see
Who can actually run a distributed field organization in industrial services?
Distributed crews, safety that has to hold unsupervised, and work done on a customer's site under their rules. Why those three constraints select for a particular background, and where they do not.
Everything else is at insights.
