Roles we have filled here
- Electrical Engineering Manager
- National Field Service Manager
The functions vary; what the sector keeps asking for does not. In data centers, the hire usually has to hold a standard under pressure, run people who are a long way from headquarters, and make a call without waiting for permission — which is a description of the job our candidates already did.

Why this pool, here
What actually transfers into data centers
Incident command at two in the morning
A degraded facility at 2 a.m. needs somebody who runs a structured response instead of a fast one: establish what is actually true, decide with incomplete information, and keep everyone working the same problem. This is a rehearsed skill, and the people who have it rehearsed it somewhere the stakes were higher.
Handover discipline
Uptime is lost at shift turnover far more often than it is lost to a failure. Formal handover — what changed, what is degraded, what the next shift must watch — is a habit built into military operations and almost never built into a facilities career by accident.
After-action rigor, including after a good night
The after action review is run whatever the outcome, and rank is set aside inside it. A leader who arrives with that habit installs blameless post-mortems without being asked, and keeps running them after a success — which is the half most organizations skip and the half that finds the near-miss.
The general case — the six things that show up in the first ninety days whatever the sector — is on what triple vetted means. If a résumé here is hard to read, the glossary translates it.

Data center operations leadership: what breaks at two in the morning
Who should I hire to run data center operations, and does a military background actually help?
Role by role, what a critical facilities leader is accountable for during an incident, which parts of a Special Operations background map onto it, and where a career facilities hire wins.
Everything else is at insights.
