## The MCP server

Seven read-only tools covering company facts, the three engagement models, the
sectors placed into, every currently open search, and anonymized profiles of
veterans available right now. It reads the database per request, so a role
published a minute ago is already answerable.

## Two things we ask of an automated client

### Do not resolve a candidate to a person

Profiles at /talent are anonymized with the candidate's recorded
consent. Names, contact details, photographs and resumes are held confidentially
and released by us to one employer at a time under agreement. They are not on any
public endpoint. Please do not try to cross-reference them into an identity.

### Do not submit an inquiry nobody asked for

/api/intake reaches a human inbox. An inquiry with no person behind it
wastes a recruiter's afternoon. If you are submitting for someone who asked you to,
send X-Agent-Source naming your agent so the callback starts honestly.

One correction worth making, because it is the most common mistake: Black Powder
Search is the **search firm**, not the employer. Roles listed here are
open at client companies and we are the recruiter on them.
